Tom Steyer who? If the liberal billionaire from San Francisco wasn’t known to America for his NextGen TV commercials of 2016 or his impeachment appeal of 2017, he’s known now.
President Trump tweeted Friday morning: “Wacky & totally unhinged Tom Steyer, who has been fighting me and my Make America Great Again agenda from beginning, never wins elections!”
The San Jose Mercury News noted the slap and said: “Did you catch that last part of the tweet? Apparently upset that Steyer had run an impeachment ad on ‘Fox and Friends’ Friday morning, which is a bit like walking into the White House with a bullhorn shouting ‘Impeach Trump!’ the president said Steyer ‘never wins elections!’”
So the paper reviewed Steyer’s election spending over the years, marking most of them as “Loser.” (The rest are marked “Loser?”)
