A San Diego hospital will host the birth of Kim Kardashian’s third child with Kanye West via a surrogate, says Life & Style magazine.
Not so fast, says Gossip Cop.
In a battle of tabloid sites, the issue is whether Kardashian is “upset” with her surrogate’s birthing plans in December.
Life & Style, a weekly based in New Jersey, said Kardashian hoped the birth would take place at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where her children North, 4, and Saint, 23 months, were born.
“Cedars is known for spa-like birthing suites that even come with a private chef,” an “insider” is quoted as telling Life & Style.
But Weiss writes that this report comes from the same tabloid that wrongly claimed the surrogate was having twins.
“Now a rep for Kardashian confirms to Gossip Cop exclusively that this new story is untrue, too,” she wrote.
Life & Style says “the surrogate carrying Kim and Kanye West’s third child is insisting on giving birth in the San Diego area, against Kim’s wishes,” as it’s “around 2 1/2 hours south of where the couple lives.”
“Kim is disappointed,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. The story was picked up later Wednesday by the Daily Mail in Britain.
Weiss adds: “It’s further telling that nothing is said about [the Life & Style] cover story from two weeks ago, which claimed Kardashian was divorcing West before the baby is born. Gossip Cop busted that fabricated allegation, and Kardashian even showed off their ‘date night’ on Instagram after the erroneous article was published.”
Gossip Cop said its own “Kardashian contact” declares a mutually supportive relationship exists between the surrogate and the reality star.
The surrogate mom’s name hasn’t been disclosed, but also is said to be a San Diego area resident.
US Magazine reported in late July: “Their pick — a San Diego mom in her late 20s, referred by an agency — is three months along, which means they’ll likely welcome baby No. 3 in January 2018.”
Life & Style didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
