Fox News anchor Shepard Smith — a former L.A.-based reporter — is catching major right-wing flak for contradicting his network on the Hillary Clinton uranium “scandal.”

“Without naming his colleagues on the opinion side of the network, Smith delivered a powerful rebuttal to those claims on Tuesday,” CNN said.
In a 6-minute fact-check, Smith also faulted President Trump ’s statement on the issue, saying it is “inaccurate in a number of ways.”
Smith, 53, was lashed for asking “What are the facts? What is Uranium One?” And then answering.
“Clips of Smith’s takedown went viral on Tuesday,” CNN said. “Matt Gertz, a senior fellow at the anti-Fox watchdog Media Matters, called it a ‘methodical annihilation of his own network’s coverage of the story.’”
