Katie Couric was Matt Lauer’s “Today” show sidekick during her 1991-2006 stint at the NBC morning show.
Now people are asking Couric: Notice anything untoward?
A video making the rounds indicates Couric was harassed, perhaps playfully, by Lauer.
In June 2012, Couric was asked by “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen: “You co-hosted The Today Show with Matt Lauer for 15 years. What is Matt’s most annoying habit?”
Couric replied: “He pinches me on the ass a lot.”
“It’s unclear whether she was joking or if she was serious about Lauer groping her constantly while they worked together,” said Refinery29. The site contacted Couric’s team to ask about the clip and a spokesperson declined to comment.
