Paul Marciano, co-founder and former chief executive of the Guess clothing brand, has sold his estate in Beverly Hills for $18.25 million in a deal finalized off-market.
Set on about an acre of land, the Mediterranean-style home includes arched French doors, formal rooms, a vaulted entry and an oversize kitchen, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday. A lower-level lounge is equipped with cigar and wine rooms.
There are six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including staff quarters, in 9,142 square feet of living space, according to The Times. The second-story master suite opens to a private balcony overlooking the backyard. Outside, lush landscaping surrounds a swimming pool with a tiled spa.
Marciano co-founded the denim powerhouse Guess Jeans with his brothers in 1981. He stepped down from his position as chief executive of the fashion firm two years ago.
He bought the property nearly two decades ago for $5.125 million, records show, according to The Times. In recent years the estate was leased out for as much as $55,000 a month.
