Information is sketchy, but Sylvester Stallone is not taking accusations of being a rapist lightly.

The “Rambo” and “Rocky” star has threatened through his lawyer to file a complaint asking that an unnamed woman be investigated for filing a false police report.

Following stories by TMZ, The Hollywood Reporter contacted the Santa Monica Police Department, which confirmed a woman had filed a sexual assault complaint last month against Stallone for an incident in the 1990s.

Meanwhile, a Baltimore reporter posted a series of tweets challenging Stallone, his lawyer and a spokesman over their accounts of various cases.

Baltimore Post-Examiner Doug Poppa, a former cop, Thursday afternoon cited the case of the late Toni Ann Filiti, Stallone’s younger half sister.

Regarding the Santa Monica case, THR said: “Technically, the alleged incident is past the statute of limitations for California. It is unclear if police will investigate nevertheless.”

TMZ had said: “Stallone’s camp was aware of the allegation and say they’ve been told she’s alleging rape during a 1990 meeting at Stallone’s office.”

Stallone has supposedly admitted he had spent three days with the accuser during a 1987 movie shoot in Israel.

“He was single, she was not a minor and he says there was never a rape,” TMZ said. “He also denies he saw her at all in 1990.”

The San Jose Mercury News collated several other sex misconduct allegations against Stallone, including one surfaced by the Daily Mail.

That British paper “obtained a 1986 police report alleging that Stallone forced a 16-year-old into a threesome with himself and his bodyguard, Mike De Luca, at a Las Vegas hotel,” said the Mercury News. “The accuser says she consented to have sex with Stallone but not De Luca, and that Stallone threatened to ‘beat her head in’ if she told anyone.”
