Writers of “The Big Sick,” “Get Out,” “I, Tonya,” “Lady Bird” and “The Shape of Water” were nominated today for the best original screenplay prize from the Writers Guild of America.
Adapted screenplay nominations went to the writers of “Call Me By Your Name,” “The Disaster Artist,” “Logan,” “Molly’s Game” and “Mudbound.”
For documentary screenplays, the WGA nominated the writers behind “Betting on Zero,” “Jane,” “No Stone Unturned” and “Oklahoma City.”
The WGA Awards will be presented Feb. 11 during concurrent ceremonies in New York and at the Beverly Hilton. Television and radio nominees were announced in December. Videogame writing nominations will be announced Jan. 11.
