The film “Darkest Hour,” the play “Mamma Mia” and the television shows “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” were among the big winners at The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards on Saturday night.

The aforementioned works each won two awards Saturday, as winners were announced in 23 categories for some of the talented people behind the camera who create the look and feel of what audiences see on stage, screen, television and the Internet.

Comedian Loni Love hosted the festivities at The Novo by Microsoft at L.A. Live, and presenters included Lily Tomlin, Melissa Leo and Joe Mantegna.

The guild includes more than 2,000 hair and makeup artists in the entertainment industry worldwide.

Also winning two awards each were “Feud: Bette and Joan” (Best Period/Character Make-Up, Best Period/Character Hairstyling – TV Miniseries/Movies), “Big Little Lies” (Best Contemporary Make-Up, Best Contemporary Hairstyling – TV Miniseries/Movies), “Game of Thrones” (Best Period/Character Make-Up, Best Special Make-Up Effects – TV) and “Henry Danger” (Best Make-Up, Best Hairstyling — Children And Teen Programming).
