Santa Ana police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman diagnosed with being bipolar who threatened to injure herself and left a note apologizing for past family issues.

Lily Huang, 53, was last seen at midnight Saturday, Aug. 25 on the 600 block of West Third Street in Santa Ana.

Relatives said Huang told her daughter of plans to injure herself and they later found a note from her with an apology for problems within the family, police said.

Her family said Huang has been diagnosed as being bipolar and they were not sure whether she was still taking her prescribed medication.

Huang is known to frequent Downtown Disney and the Newport Beach-Corona Del Mar area, police said.

She is described as Chinese American, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
