The Los Angeles Football Club will conduct a playoff rally Sunday on Christmas Tree Lane in Exposition Park following their final regular-season home game of the 2018 Major League Soccer season.
The rally will include appearances from LAFC players and club officials, live entertainment, food trucks, a beer garden, corporate partner activities what a team official describes as “a special live performance by a musical guest.”
LAFC is the fifth expansion team in MLS history to reach the playoffs in its inaugural season. It enters Sunday’s play tied for second in the Western Conference with Sporting Kansas City, one point behind FC Dallas.
LAFC will conclude the regular season next Sunday at Sporting Kansas City.
Grammy-winning singer Meghan Trainor will be the honorary falconer for Sunday’s game against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Banc of California Stadium.
One of the team’s four falcons is released before the start of each game for a pregame flight at the center of the field, hunting a lure of the opponent’s crest.
All fans will receive a team poster upon entering.
A very limited number of tickets remained available late last week and a sellout was expected. LAFC has sold out all 15 of its MLS games at the 22,000-seat Banc of California Stadium.
