Heisman Trophy-winner Tim Tebow will host the CBS competition series “Million Dollar Mile,” whose executive producers include Los Angeles Lakers all-star forward LeBron James, the network announced Monday.

Contestants will have the chance to win $1 million every time they run the Million Dollar Mile but “standing in their way is the most challenging course ever designed and a group of elite athletes with one mission — to stop the contestants from winning the money at all costs,” according to CBS.

“Watching good people compete at their highest ability is always inspirational to me,” said Tebow, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, now a college football analyst with the SEC Network.

” `Million Dollar Mile’ is a show that does just that — it motivates, thrills and is aspirational.”

Los Angeles Chargers radio play-by-play announcer and KLAC-AM (570) sports talk show host Matt “Money” Smith and ESPN host and reporter Maria Taylor will serve as commentators, CBS also announced Monday.

The 10-episode series is expected to premiere in 2019.

The series is produced by SpringHill Entertainment, the entertainment and content company created by James and his business partner Maverick Carter, Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television.
