PaleyFest LA 2019 will begin March 15 with a program on the Emmy-winning Amazon Prime Video comedy “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” organizers announced Monday.
PaleyFest LA 2019 will be held at the Dolby Theatre March 15-24. It will also include a program with CBS late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert March 16 and a 10-year reunion of the cast of the 2009-15 NBC comedy “Parks and Recreation” March 21.
The festival is billed by organizers as a pop culture experience that connects fans with the casts and creators of their favorite television series. The programs consist of never-before seen episodes and exclusive clips packages created for the event and panel discussions.
“We’re thrilled to announce this incredible lineup of programs,” said Paley Center President-CEO Maureen J. Reidy.
“We’re so proud that our lineup reflects the diversity of the television viewing experience from history-making programs highlighting the LGBTQ+ community, to Emmy Award-winning comedies and dramas with strong female characters, action-packed adventure series, and a conversation with one of the sharpest voices on late-night TV.”
A presale of festival tickets for Citi card members and Paley patron, fellow and supporting members will be held Tuesday and Wednesday. Tickets will go on sale to Paley Center individual members Thursday and to the public on Friday at paleyfest.org.
