Tommy Davis, Manny Mota and Bill Russell are among the Los Angeles Dodger alumni set to sign autographs and take photos with fans at Dodger Stadium’s gates before Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Steve Yeager and Matt Luke are also set to sign autographs and take photos with fans, a team official said.
As is customary for Sunday afternoon games, the Dodgers will allow children 14 years old and under to run the bases following the game.
The national anthem will be performed by Snatam Kaur, who received a 2019 Grammy nomination for best new age album.
The Military Hero of the Game will be 94-year-old Charles Wilson, a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient for his actions during World War II.
During a return from patrol in Germany’s Hagenau Forest in January 1945, Wilson’s squad was met by heavy artillery fire. Although wounded with shrapnel, he continued his mission and saved the lives of his squadmates.
Wilson is chairman and CEO of Commerce-based Ernest Packaging Solutions, which his brother Ernest founded in 1946.
