Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” was named Thursday the recipient of the Hollywood Animation Award, which will be presented during the Hollywood Film Awards.
The film and its director, Josh Cooley, will be recognized at the Nov. 3 HFA ceremony, billed as the unofficial opening of Hollywood’s awards season.
Other honorees announced Thursday were:
— Hollywood Cinematography Award: Mihai Malaimare Jr., “Jojo Rabbit”;
— Hollywood Film Composer Award: Randy Newman, “Marriage Story”;
— Hollywood Editor Award: Michael McCusker and Andrew Buckland, “Ford v Ferrari”;
— Hollywood Visual Effects Award: Pablo Helman, “The Irishman”;
— Hollywood Sound Award: Donald Sylvester, Paul Massey, David Giammarco and Steven Morrow, “Ford v Ferrari”;
— Hollywood Costume Design Award: Anna Mary Scott Robbins, “Downton Abbey”;
— Hollywood Make-Up and Hair Styling Award: Lizzie Yianni-Georgiou, Tapio Salmi and Barrie Gower, “Rocketman”; and
— Hollywood Production Design Award: Ra Vincent, “Jojo Rabbit.”
Comedian Rob Riggle will host the award ceremony, which will be held at the Beverly Hilton.
