Detectives continued their search Sunday for a 58-year-old man with dementia who went missing in Paramount.
James “Barry” Turner was last seen June 4 about 6 a.m. near the 13800 block of Arthur Avenue, in a residential area near the Century (105) Freeway and Paramount Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was wearing a gray shirt and black jeans.
Turner is Black. He stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair, the department reported.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call Sgt. M. Rodriguez of the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
