One person was killed Friday in a traffic crash on the transition road from the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway to the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in the Paramount area.
The crash was reported about 6:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Information was not immediately available on the identity of the deceased person, described only as a female, who was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
A search was conducted in the area to determine if there was a second victim, but no second victim was found, the CHP reported.
Two lanes of the transition road were blocked for about four hours while an investigation was conducted.
