“Raya and the Last Dragon” held onto its spot atop the box office this weekend, taking in $5.5 million, according to industry estimates released Sunday.

Another children’s film, “Tom & Jerry,” also repeated its second-place showing from last week, taking in $4 million Friday through Sunday at theaters in the United States and Canada, Comscore reported.

The next three spots were also unchanged from last weekend, with “Chaos Walking” taking in $2.25 million, followed by the Queens basketball drama “Boogie” with $730,000 and “The Croods: A New Age” with $520,000.

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were “The Marksman” ($465,000), “Wonder Woman 1984” ($400,000), “The Little Things” ($400,000), “Long Weekend” ($245,000) and “Judas And The Black Messiah” ($168,000).

Indoor movie theaters are finally set to reopen this week in Southern California after several months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In other box office news, Disney re-issued 2009’s “Avatar” in China, where the film earned $21.1 million last week. That brought its cumulative international box office total to over $2.81 billion, surpassing 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame” as the highest-grossing film in history.
