Socialite, TV personality and new Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kim Kardashian went to court Friday to obtain a restraining order against a man she claims sent her dozens of threatening letters and even a bomb threat.
Kardashian’s attorney, Shawn Holley, filed the papers in Los Angeles Superior Court, asking for an order against David Resendiz.
According to TMZ, which obtained the papers, Resendiz — whom Kardashian does not know — has sent more than 80 letters to the socialite, threatening both her and her four children. Some of the letters also made “disturbing sexual references about me,” Kardashian claims in the papers.
TMZ reported that Kardashian claims Resendiz has threatened to kill her, and she contends he sent a bomb threat to one of her business offices.
