More than 75 celebrities will make their way to the Coachella Valley for Thursday’s sold-out 14th annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament, which raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The tournament is set to kick off Thursday with a songwriters night at JW Marriott Desert Springs, located at 74-855 Country Club Drive. It will feature Eric Paslay, Wynn Varble, Brett James, Rivers Rutherford and Tim Nichols.
The event continues Friday in the same venue with “Rheneypalooza Jam,” which will include a line-up of Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famers including Alice Cooper, Don Felder, Mike Mills and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, tournament officials said. Surprise guests are also expected.
The celebrity golf tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Classic Club and Desert Willow. Celebrities set to appear include Chris McDonald, Sam McMurray, Kevin Rahm, Gregory Harrison, David Leisure, Sterlin Sharpe and U.S. Senate candidate Steve Garvey.
The 59-year-old Warburton is best known for his recurring role as David Puddy on “Seinfeld” and as the voice of Joe Swanson on “Family Guy.”
The annual golf tournament, which raised $4.7 million last year, has raised more than $26.6 million to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since it began.
