Comedian/author/TV personality Chelsea Handler will return as host of the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards ceremony, which will be televised live on E!, the Critics Choice Association announced Thursday.
It will be Handler’s third consecutive year as emcee of the event, which will be held Jan. 12 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
After airing live on E!, the awards show will be available for streaming on Peacock beginning Jan. 13.
“We’re thrilled to be working with E! to present our landmark 30th annual Critics Choice Awards,” Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin said in a statement. “With the incredible Chelsea Handler returning as our host, we know this special 30th anniversary show is going to be our biggest and best show yet, and we couldn’t be more excited to be airing the show live on E! and available to stream on Peacock next day.”
Television nominations for the awards will be announced Dec. 5. The film nominees will be announced Dec. 12. All awards will be presented during the Jan. 12 ceremony.
