As it continues celebrating its 50-year history, “Saturday Night Live” also emerged as one of the big winners at the 12th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards.

The sketch comedy show took home four awards from the Saturday ceremony at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, which was co-hosted by “Dancing With The Stars” pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson.

Other big winners included “Wicked” and “The Substance” in the motion picture categories and “Emily in Paris” and “Palm Royale” among television shows.

Award-winning actress Allison Janney was presented with the Distinguished Artisan Award for bringing characters to life in collaboration with her make-up and hair team and the Vanguard Award went to the Research Council of Makeup Artists for being a pillar in the make-up and hair styling community for more than sixty years.

The awards recognize excellence in the artistry and creativity of make-up artists and hair stylists in 23 categories, including motion pictures, television, music videos and theater. This year, the theater category was expanded to include Broadway and international productions.
