Cinematographers Monday were celebrating outstanding achievements in the past year.

On Sunday night, the American Society of Cinematographers awarded Edward Lachman its 2025 Theatrical Feature Film award for the Netflix production of “Maria.” It was his fifth nomination and first win.

Jomo Fray won the Spotlight Award for “Nickel Boys.” Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw won the Documentary Award for “Gaucho Gaucho.”

Other awards include Robert Elswit for the “Lucio” episode of “Ripley,” for Limited/Anthology Series. Sam Mccurdy won an award for a one-hour of “Shogun” and Richard Rutkowski won for the half-hour “Starry-Eyed” episode of “Sugar.”

The awards were presented at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
