Items from some of television’s most iconic moments will be auctioned off next month, including the bodysuit worn by Lynda Carter as “Wonder Woman,” the original barstools and bar front door from “Cheers” and the living room sofas from “Roseanne” and “Frasier,” it was announced Tuesday.
The auction, dubbed “Channel Surfing,” will take place live and online May 7-8, according to Julien’s Auctions. It will feature more than 600 props, costumes, set pieces, production materials and more.
Other highlights from “Wonder Woman” include Carter’s tiara, earrings, “Lasso of Truth” prop and knee-high boots.
Costumes up for auction include Cher’s Bob Mackie-designed ensembles from “The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour” and “Cher,” and Carol Burnett’s signature attire from “The Carol Burnett Show” and “Mama’s Family.”
Julien’s curated the collection to showcase the evolution of television and its “profound influence on global pop culture,” officials said.
