The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office declined to file any criminal charges against “Breaking Bad” actor Raymond Cruz, who was arrested for allegedly spraying water on women he claimed were harassing him as he washed a car outside his Silver Lake home, a spokesman for the office said Wednesday.

No specific reason was given for the office’s decision not to pursue a case against the 60-year-old actor, who portrayed murderous meth trafficker Tuco Salamanca on “Breaking Bad.”

Cruz had been booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery following his arrest, but he was released on his own recognizance.

“Raymond is happy this is done with,” his agent wrote in a statement to media shortly after Cruz’s arrest. “He is a big supporter of law enforcement and has no criminal history whatsoever. He has no idea who these women are or why they were harassing him in front of his own home while he was trying to wash a car. They were not neighbors.”

Cruz reprised his role as Salamanca on the prequel series “Better Call Saul,” and played significant roles on the police drama “The Closer” and the film “Training Day.”
