Actor, television host and LGBTQI+ advocate Jonathan Bennett will receive the 483rd star on the Walk of the Stars Thursday in downtown Palm Springs.
The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at 100 S. Palm Canyon Drive.
Bennett, who appeared in the film “Mean Girls” and in the musical “Spamalot” on Broadway, also hosted Food Network’s “Halloween Wars,” among other credits. He will receive the star in the category of entertainment.
He has also been dubbed “The Gay King of Christmas” for his Hallmark Channel contributions, including executive producing the first gay-led holiday rom-com, “The Holiday Sitter,” and the GLAAD Media award-winning “The Groomsmen” film trilogy, organizers said.
He has also received the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award.
He and his husband, Jaymes Vaughan, live in Palm Springs.
