Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Tuesday announced a 20-date “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour that will cross the United States this spring, including a stop at the Kia Forum in Inglewood.
The tour begins March 31 in Minneapolis and concludes May 27 in Washington, D.C. It includes two performances at the Kia Forum on April 7 and April 9.
Tickets go on sale Saturday.
In an announcement on Instagram, Springsteen said the tour is being staged “in celebration and in defense of America,” adding that fans of all political affiliations are welcome.
“Brothers and sisters, fans, friends and good folks from coast to coast, we are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times. But do not despair, the calvary is coming,” Springsteen said. “We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America, American democracy, American freedom, our American constitution and our sacred American dream.”
The tour follows the release of Springsteen’s protest song “Streets of Minneapolis,” written in response to federal immigration enforcement operations and the fatal shootings of Minneapolis residents Renée Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents last month.
