The final season of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things” will be featured in a haunted house at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights event this fall, park officials announced Wednesday.

Developed in partnership with Netflix, the attraction will immerse guests in scenes and storylines from the science-fiction horror series.

“The harrowing adventure will immediately transport guests to the town of Hawkins, as the barrier between reality and the supernatural is collapsing to unleash an ominous darkness,” according to a statement from Universal Studios Hollywood.

Visitors will travel through familiar settings including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory and the military base known as the MAC-Z, as well as the Upside Down and the Abyss, officials said.

Guests will encounter Demogorgons and other supernatural threats while attempting to evade the show’s primary villain, Vecna, as the story builds toward the final battle depicted in the concluding season.

Halloween Horror Nights will begin Sept. 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood and run on select nights through Nov. 1.

The annual event features themed haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment based on popular horror films, television series and original concepts.

Universal also announced the release of a limited-edition line of “Stranger Things” merchandise tied to the attraction, including apparel, drinkware and collectible items.

Additional attractions and experiences planned for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights are expected to be announced in the coming months.
