Jay-Z announced Monday that he has added a second stadium show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood to his 30th anniversary celebration after the first concert sold out.
The rapper and entrepreneur will now perform Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 at SoFi Stadium. Organizers said the second show was added because of strong demand.
The concerts follow what organizers described as a record-setting, sold-out three-night run at Yankee Stadium in New York.
“These must-see performances celebrate JAY-Z’s remarkable 30-year career and iconic catalog that has shaped music and culture around the world,” organizers said in a statement.
Presales for the newly added Oct. 24 show are set to begin Wednesday, with general ticket sales starting at 10 a.m. Thursday through Live Nation.
The Los Angeles concerts are among five stadium performances announced by Jay-Z this year. The tour also includes two shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and one at Stade de France in Paris.
