Caltrans officials this week are warning Malibu residents of upcoming lane closures along Pacific Coast Highway that begin on Thursday.
According to Caltrans, crews will need to close lanes in order to perform maintenance on the busy stretch of highway. Motorists are being advised to expect delays and, if possible, avoid the affected areas by finding alternate routes.
The following closures will be in effect:
- Thursday, Oct. 2 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. — One lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway will be closed from Temescal Canyon Road to Chautauqua Boulevard to repair guardrail.
- Monday, Oct. 6 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Moving closures will be in place on one lane of north and southbound Pacific Coast Highway from Sunset Boulevard to Trancas Canyon Road to repair median paddles.
More information on closures can be found on the Caltrans District 7 blog.
