There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is expected to grow to $125 million.
One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold in North Carolina and Texas and are each worth $1 million, the Multi- State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.
One Match 5 Winners Power Play ticket was sold in both Idaho and Pennsylvania. They are each worth $2 million.
The numbers drawn tonight were 29, 30, 40, 42, 50 and the Powerball number was 16. The estimated jackpot was $110 million.
The drawing was the eighth since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.
The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
