The Pomona Police Officers Association announced Wednesday it is accepting donations to assist the family of a SWAT officer who was fatally shot while helping to serve a warrant in San Gabriel.
Officer Shaun Diamond, 45, died early this morning at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.
Donations to the family can be made out to the Pomona POA, with Diamond’s name in the memo line of the check. The association asked that donations of cash or gift cards include a note indicating the source of the gift.
