The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular
gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 33rd consecutive day and
the 34th time in 35 days, decreasing a half-cent to $3.615, its lowest amount
since April 29.
The average price has dropped 40.1 cents over the past 35 days,
including eight-tenths of a cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA
and Oil Price Information Service.
That price is 6 cents less than one week ago, 37.9 cents lower than one
month ago and 51.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 35th consecutive day
today, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.544, its lowest amount since April
28. It is 5.7 cents less than one week ago, 43 cents lower than one month ago
and 56.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped 45.9 cents over the past 35
days, including a half-cent on Friday.
