A 19-year-old autistic man who went missing from his Altadena home last Saturday was found safe Friday in Utah.
Jonathan Taylor Clark was found Friday morning in North Park, Utah, and was unharmed but hungry, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Clark’s mother, who had been contacted by her son via email after his departure, was to travel to Utah to pick him up, the sheriff’s department reported.
She had replied to the email, in which Clark said he loved her and was sorry, but got no response.
No details were released about how Clark made his way to Utah, or how he was found there. But according to a sheriff’s missing person bulletin, he loves trains and public transportation and had run away before, once having been found in Salt Lake City.
