There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the Powerball lottery, so the jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing will grow to $50 million.
National interest in the multi-state lottery has grown since last week’s jackpot of nearly $1.6 billion was divided by players in California and Tennessee.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 3, 51, 52, 61, 64 and the Powerball number was 6. The jackpot was $40 million.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.
The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
