The recently renovated Hollywood Pool will open for the summer season starting this weekend, city officials said Thursday.

The 9,575 square-foot pool was re-opened last summer after extensive renovations and features a slide and shaded bleacher areas.

The pool is at the Hollywood Recreation Center on Santa Monica Boulevard, between Cole Avenue and Cahuenga Boulevard.

Councilman Mitch O’Farrell said he is “looking forward to opening the pool once again and making this opportunity available to my constituents.”

The pool will be open Monday through Friday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., for recreational swimming, and on weekends from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

General adult admission is $3.50, and $1 for children under 17 years old, and seniors 65 years and older. An unlimited $10 pass that can be used through Labor Day is also available for children aged 18 and under.
