As many as 400,000 people may jam West Hollywood for the weekend for the 46th annual LA Pride Mustic Festival and Parade.

Organizers expected participants to have a great time, but warned that traffic and parking could be difficult with the giant crowd flocking to the relatively small city. And as big as Saturday’s crowd will be on the festival’s second day, the greatest turnout may be Sunday morning for the giant parade.

Pop star Charli XCX will be Saturday main stage headliner on the second day of the three-day LA Pride Music Festival & Parade at West Hollywood Park.

The main stage lineup will range from top 40 hit makers to emerging artists. The festival’s other three stages will feature Latin music, hip-hop and dance music.

The festival will run from 2 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday. Charli XCX is scheduled to take the stage at 10:30 p.m. Participants won’t get much sleep if they return in plenty of time for Sunday’s 10:45 a.m. parade start time.

Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen will be Sunday’s main stage headliner when the festival runs from noon to 11 p.m.

General admission passes, good for both today and Sunday, are $60, with VIP passes $150.

Free AIDS testing will be available throughout the festival.

The LA Pride parade will begin Sunday morning at Crescent Heights and Santa Monica boulevards and continue west along Santa Monica Boulevard, concluding at Robertson Boulevard.

The grand marshal will be Jewel Thais-Williams, the owner of the Catch One Disco and a co-founder of the Minority AIDS Project, and Rue’s House, the first housing facility for women with AIDS.

The festival opened Friday with the annual Dyke Rally & March, live entertainment celebrating the transgender community and two new events — the Youth Dance and Vogue Ball.
