Mega Millions

Lottery fever may be returning for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing as the jackpot will grow to $449 million.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery.

One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold in Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. They are each worth $1 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association which conducts the game.

The numbers drawn tonight were 20, 41, 42, 45, 49 and the Mega number was 14. The estimated jackpot was $415 million, the third largest in the game’s history and 10th largest in U.S. history.

The drawing was the 33rd since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.

The Mega Millions game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
