Music Tastes Good (concert): KCRW will kick-off their three-day music and food experience. Dino Fest (festival): Check out the first ever ‘Dino Fest’ featuring everything dino and Jurassic! Paleontologists and dinosaur experts will be on site to give you a behind-the-scenes look at fossil discoveries, in-the-field research and dinosaur pop culture. Get your tickets here for $12. Star Wars The Force Awakens (movie): Grab your lawn chair, blankets and snacks and come enjoy a free movie screening of Star Wars. The movie starts at 7:15 p.m. at Paul Revere Charter Middle School, 1450 Allenford Ave., Los Angeles.
Wax Workshop (art): Artist Lisa Welch Semler will hold a workshop at her private studio on Encaustic wax and hot wax painting. Jails of Old Los Angeles (informational): Are you interested in seeing what the old jails look like? Then come check out this walking tour. You’ll learn about the places where criminals were housed, judged and sometimes autopsied. The event is free but reservations are required. Wiggle Wag Walk (family): Help support the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at this furry friendly family event. You can do a 1 or 3 mile walk around the Rose Bowl, participate in a canine costume contest, and check out police K9 demonstrations. Register you and your dog here.
