Happy weekend! Here are the top 10 fun weekend adventures in LA for Oct. 14-16. Enjoy!

Friday, Oct. 14

Golf Tournament (sport): The 10th annual golf tournament sponsored by the Foothill Community Police Station will be held. Tee off is at 9:30 a.m. at the Angeles National Golf Club, 9401 Foothill Blvd., Los Angeles.

Haunt at Heritage Hill (festival): Heritage Hill will transform for its 9th year into a haunted park, featuring a Haunted School House Fright
Maze, scream zones and a`Zombie Apocalypse.’ You can get tickets at the gate for $8. The screaming starts at 6 p.m. 25151 Serrano Road, Lake Forest.

Pumpkin Painting Happy Hour (art): Pick your pumpkin, decorate it and enjoy some wine. Pumpkin painting starts at 5 p.m. followed by a screening of the  Poltergeist at 8 p.m. Get your tickets here for $20. Malibu Wines, 31740 Mulholland Hwy., Malibu.

ZombieFest (festival): The weekend-long annual ZombieFest will begin. The festival will be jam packed with Halloween inspired activities included a haunted maze, interactive reptile exhibits and a ‘zombie walk.’ Get your tickets here for $13. The event starts at 5 p.m. at the Rainbow Lagoon, 350 E. Shoreline Drive, Long Beach.

Saturday, Oct. 15

Desert Week (tasting): Check out this all day Dessert Festival featuring 25 desserts from around LA. Feel free to try just one or all of them. There will be live music, beer / wine garden, pie eating contests and ping pong. Get your tickets here for $15. The event starts at 1 p.m. at Pershing Square, 532 S. Olive St., Los Angeles. 

Fright Fest Outdoor Movie (screening): Two Halloween favorites, Bride of Frankenstein and the Creature From the Black Lagoon, will be shown at the Eagle Rock Recreation Center. The first screening starts at 5 p.m. and you can get your tickets here for $12. 1100 Eagle Vista Drive, Los Angeles.

Taste of Mexico (food): Come try some authentic Mexican food at the 6th Annual Mexico Festival featuring chefs, Mexican craft beer, wine and more. You can get your tickets here for $65, which will get you all you can eat and drink. The festival starts at 6 p.m. at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, 501 N. Main St., Los Angeles.

Sunday, Oct. 16

Bitter Brunch (art): Trying to get over a recent breakup? Come join other singles at this Bitter Brunch event. Enjoy mimosas and breakup songs played by the street team from DJ Scratch. Get your tickets here for $5. The brunching starts at 11 a.m. at the Museum of Broken Relationships, 6751 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles.

Acu Aroma Beauty Spa Day (cosmetic): Enjoy a day of relaxation and beauty.
