Detectives are asking the public to help them find a 16-year-old boy who went missing in the area of Bouquet Canyon and Plum Canyon roads in Saugus.
Daniel Vargas was last seen at about 7 p.m. Thursday, said Shirley Miller of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.
Vargas is described as Hispanic, 5-feet-11 inches tall, weighing 144 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue flannel shirt and black “Dickies” pants.
Anyone with information on Vargas’ whereabouts was asked to call (661) 255-1121 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477).
