The 15th annual Kwanzaa Heritage Festival and Block Parade will be held Saturday in Leimert Park Village.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and Vernon Avenue. The festival will run through 7 p.m. and include a fashion show, community dancing, authentic crafts, a continuous drum circle, exotic foods, a children’s village and health screening, according to the Kwanzaa Heritage Foundation, which is organizing the event.

A candle lighting ceremony will be held at noon.

The 50th annual Kwanzaa Karamu (Feast) will begin at 7 a.m. at Friendship Auditorium in Silver Lake. More information is available by calling (323) 299-6124.
