A black bear entered a mini mall in Santa Clarita, drawing sheriff’s deputies and the California Highway Patrol, but no injuries were reported.
Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s deputies and CHP personnel arrived at the scene at 8:40 p.m. Thursday and spotted the bear behind the mail in the 28700 block of The Old Road.
The animal took off running across The Old Road and into the hills near Magic Mountain.
No injuries were reported and the search was discontinued.
Deputies also reported spotting a bear nearby in Valencia.
