Problems with an overhead electrical supply system have caused Metro to stop running Blue Line trains just south of downtown Los Angeles Sunday.

Both tracks were taken out of service along the Blue Line between the Grand Station and San Pedro Station. Both stations are on Washington Boulevard.

Metro has set up a “bus bridge” for passengers between the two stations, said Metro spokesman Dave Sotero.

The problem started at noon and there was no estimated time of repair.

Sotero said service on the nearby Expo Line was not affected.
