
Five people were reported missing by four police agencies Monday, including a mother and daughter who disappeared from a now-vacant apartment in Pasadena.
It’s unclear exactly when the pair was last seen, said Pasadena Detective J. Urita. However, the older woman’s son said he went to the apartment where they staying on Friday — 74 S. Allen Ave. — and found it vacant.
He had not heard from the pair since at least Friday.
The mother, Sheila Regine Wallace, is 64, 5-feet-4 and weighs about 105 pounds. She has blond hair and needs constant medical attention, police said.
Her daughter, Marina Morse, is 41 years old and is the primary caretaker for her mother, according to her brother. She has long brown hair but no detailed physical description of Morse was immediately available from police.
She also drives a white BMW. Police did not release the license plate number.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts was asked to call Detective Urita at (626) 744-6489 or 911. No one from Pasadena police was immediately available to respond to calls from City News Service.
Melvin Augustus Jones missing in Glendale
Melvin Augustus Jones was seen at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Royal Palms Convalescent Home at 630 West Broadway, said Glendale Police Sgt. B. Bateman.

Jones was a recent arrival at the home, Bateman said.
Jones is black, 6-feet-2 and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue-green jacket and jeans, police said.

George Thomas Gaston missing in Lynwood
The sheriff’s department asked for the public’s help Monday to find an 80-year-old man who suffers from diabetes and dementia and who walked away from his care facility in Lynwood.
George Thomas Gaston was last seen about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of Imperial Highway, said Sgt. Bob Boese of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Gaston is black, 5 feet-10 inches, 160 pounds, with short gray hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a purple shirt and black pants. He is also insulin-dependent, Boese said.
Anyone with information about Gaston’s whereabouts was urged to contact the Missing Persons Unit at the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890- 5500 or 911.
Booker Wren missing in Lancaster
A 72-year-old man with dementia and a heart condition has gone missing in Lancaster, authorities said Monday.
Booker Wren was last seen about 6 p.m. Wednesday when he walked away from a retirement home in the 44000 block of 15th Street West, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Wren is black, 5-feet-9, weighs about 180 pounds and has black-gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black jacket and white shoes when last seen.
Anyone with information that might help reunite Wren and his family was urged to call (323) 890-5500 to speak with Sheriff’s Detective Abraham or Sergeant Nunez. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling (800) 222-TIPS.
