Lake Elsinore earthquake

The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.6-magnitude earthquake occurred just after 1 a.m. Sunday about one mile north-northeast of Lakeland Village near Lake Elsinore.

The shaking was weak to light in the area from San Bernardino to Murrieta and Lakeland Village to Hemet, reports received by the USGS said. Weak shaking was reported by people in the San Clemente area.

No damage was reported to the USGS, according to the event page on its website.
