There’s good news Friday for South Bay Dodger fans.
Metro and County Supervisor Janice Hahn announced Friday that Dodger Stadium Express bus service will be offered again this season between the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Dodger Stadium.
The bus service is free to people with game tickets. People without tickets must pay a $2.50 fare.
“This service is so important to South Bay and Harbor Area Dodger fans, and I will work with Metro and the Dodgers to find the funding we need to keep this service going for years to come,” Hahn said.
The Harbor Gateway Transit Center is located near the interchange of the 110 and 91 freeways.
Express bus service will also be offered this season as usual from Union Station. That service is also free for ticket-holders. People without tickets must pay $1.75.
The service will begin March 26 for the team’s exhibition game against the Angels. Regular-season service starts March 29, when the Dodgers take on the rival San Francisco Giants.
