U.S. Marine Corps Sgts. Eric Gann and Braxton Rico of the Camp Pendleton-based 1st Law Enforcement Battalion will throw the ceremonial first pitch before Wednesday evening’s Los Angeles Dodgers-Colorado Rockies game at Dodger Stadium in connection with Military Appreciation Night.

Gann and Rico will be joined by UUrzua, a military working dog.

The Mission Continues, a nonprofit organization that has veterans conduct community projects, will be recognized during pregame ceremonies.

The national anthem will be performed by Navy Band Southwest.

U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Bryan Stubblefield will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game. Stubblefield joined the Navy in 1994. He served as an in-flight technician and ordnance man on P-3 Orion aircraft while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and recently completed a tour onboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson.

Stubblefield is stationed at Naval Base Ventura County as a wing maintenance lead. He has been awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation and Achievement medals, Navy Meritorious Medal and various joint and unit awards.

A limited amount of Military Appreciation Night ticket packages, which include an exclusive cap with the Dodgers familiar LA logo in blue camouflage, are available.
