A 71-year-old man was missing Friday in Compton.
Sylvester “Sonny” Brickley was last seen about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at a liquor store on Wilmington Avenue, according to Deputy Trina Schrader with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Brickley is African-American, 5-feet-6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and a gray goatee, Schrader said.
He was last seen wearing a brown long-sleeve shirt, black pants and brown hat, she said.
Brickley’s family has not seen or heard from him and have asked for the public’s help in locating him, said Schrader.
