Firefighters extinguished a blaze under the porch of a one-story home in the Hollywood Hills Friday morning in just over a half-hour.
Crews responded about 3:20 a.m. to the 1600 block of North Rising Glen Road and were able to keep the flames from spreading to the home, according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A knockdown was declared about 4 a.m. and no injuries were reported, she said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
