Firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze Tuesday morning in the wall and attic of a three-story garden style apartment building in Panorama City.

Firefighters were called about 11:30 p.m. Monday to the 41-unit building at 14811 Roscoe Blvd., between Sepulveda and Van Nuys boulevards, and worked to extinguish what was described as a “stubborn” fire in a wall of the building that extended into the attic, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Nearly 60 firefighters were able to snuff out the flames and knock down was declared just after midnight, Humphrey said.

No evacuations or injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
